The company is headed by tax expert Tim Good who will be familiar to many accountants and whose involvement in tax and accounting software dates back to 1994 and the introduction of self assessment. Absolute Accounting is a software developer and distributor. We will always deliver the most functional, easy to use, and technologically advanced software. If solutions already exist in the market place that meet these criteria, we will work with the publishers to bring them to our customers, and if they do not exist - we will develop them.

The next major development in Accounts Production software and Tax software is of course iXBRL. From 1 April 2011 CT returns will have to be filed electronically with accounts and computations attached in iXBRL format.  Companies House have adopted XBRL v2.1 for electronic filing of audit exempt accounts. Absolute Accounting is at the forefront of iXBRL in the UK and our software is already being used for iXBRL filings to both the HMRC and Companies House.
