The next major development in Accounts Production software and Tax software is of course iXBRL. From 1 April 2011 CT returns will have to be filed electronically with accounts and computations attached in iXBRL format.  Companies House have adopted XBRL v2.1 for electronic filing of audit exempt accounts. Absolute Accounting is at the forefront of iXBRL in the UK and our software is ready for use for iXBRL filings to both the HMRC and Companies House.
